Mount Olympus

After my first solo attempt, and first attempt with another magus wizard, the best advice I can give you is bring a friend along. I died in the first fight when I tried it solo, and my partner quit after a few fights when I tried it with another magus. We probably could have made it if he had stayed, but it would have been difficult. Anyway, it is a pretty straightforward dungeon, pretty much no cheats for the first few fights.
The first fight there is a Life boss, and a myth minion. I fought them twice and never got stunned by the myth. If you are worried about dying, pack fire, life, and myth shields. (Or tower shields) Second fight: Easier than the first, if you are Death, Myth, or Ice, bring converts, the centaur shields all three. The third fight is just annoying. There are 3 cyclopes and a praetorian guard. Those one eyed beasts stun CONSTANTLY. When they aren't stunning they are casting chains of Humungo-frogs. Pack myth shields, and stun shields if you have them. The storm guy hits every now and then, but rarely over 3 pips. Beyond that I can't tell you much as I haven't done it yet. Good luck, and happy questing.

More posts coming...

I will be getting crowns soon so I can do some in depth stuff about early Aquila. If you have any specific things you want to know about the first dungeon, let me know.

Extreme pets!

Ok, so I have posted some general info on pets already. But if you plan on training many pets, this is the way to go.
First, the training method: enter the dance game, and just let the timer run down, or hold down one key to deliberately mess up 3 times in a row. It may seem mean to the pet, or like a waste of energy, but if you are training lots of pets you probably can afford it, and it is SUPER FAST. Once it takes you to the snacks screen, feed it a snack. The higher the rank, the better. If you want a cheap way, go to the bazaar, then arrange the snacks in order from least expensive to most. There are some snacks from celestia that only cost 200-225 there. These are rank 5. So every 20 seconds or less you are adding 5 xp to your pet. If you train like this, you can multitask as well, since you can do something else while the timers tic down. Like I said, letting the timer run down and getting 0 xp from the game itself may seem like a waste, but in the long run it is not that much more expensive, and much faster. Especially if you use the topic of my next tip:
Mega Snacks
These snacks are just boss. If you don't know what one of these is, mega snacks are snacks rank 8+. These are all no auction, and give AT LEAST 20 xp per snack, but can go as high as 52 (50 + 2 if it is loved) You can obtain these from mega snack packs, and several of the hardest bosses in the game. But, there is an even easier way:
Gardening. Several seeds give mega snacks. I will start with the seeds that give the least. Ok, so any of the bread fruit bushes have a chance of dropping mega snacks. The next tier up is the prickly bear . These seeds have a better chance of giving mega snacks. Of those two options, I would recommend the prickly bear. You can start with a garden of 2-3, and they will quickly expand, as they drop multiple seeds most of the time. Finally, there are crowns plants. Evil Magma Peas http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/House:Evil_Magma_Peas , easily the best seeds in the game, cost 1,350 crowns, and cannot be auctioned or purchased for gold. These ALWAYS drop a mega snack at elder, and these mega snacks are always one of the best 3. They always drop their own seed, so if you buy one and take care of it you will have it for life. Couch potatoes http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/House:Couch_Potatoes are the next best seed in the game. I say this because they take longer to get to elder, but the difference isn't that large. These too always drop one of their own seeds at elder. These are dropped by pretty much EVERY SINGLE MONSTER in Grizzleheim. I would reccomend the troubled warriors in Savarstaad pass. They have 310 life, but they shield fire, so if you are a fire wizard, you could try any other monster. I have killed 113 of the troubled warriors, 27 of the boars, and 56 of the forest pests. These efforts have yielded 4 couch potatoes. If any of you decide to farm for couch potatoes, good luck! Higher levels can farm Ogre in Avalon, he drops Evil Magma Peas, doesn't cheat, and has only one minion. Good luck to everyone!

*tc is an abbreviation of treasure cards for those of you who don't know.
If you already know how to stack your traps and blades, you don't need to read on. If you don't, well, I will attempt to explain. Stacking is when you take traps and blades and layer them, and still have them all trigger. If I take my trained Deathblade and don't do anything to it, then cast it twice and then finally cast a death damage spell, only one of the blades will trigger. But, if I use a trained Deathblade and a treasure card Deathblade FROM A CERTAIN PACK, they will both trigger. You can tell what pack a treasure card is from by looking in the middle left. Here are some example pictures:
See the little symbols above the accuracy number? All three of these Balance blades will trigger when I cast a damage spell because each symbol is different. It works the same way with traps. The last important important thing to know about stacking, is that order DOES matter. Think of it this way: I stack three boxes on top of each other. The first box I put down can't be picked up by itself once the others are in place. If I want to cast a death spell, trigger a death trap, convert it to life damage and then trigger a life trap, i need to cast in this order: Life trap, convert, Death trap. That is all you really need to know to get One in a Million. Good Luck!
P.S. Just had to post a pic of this :P
P.P.S. Thanks to my awesome friend Wolf Ghostrider for the help.

1 in a Million Badge

I have been busy sitting in the bazaar lately buying treasure cards. Sounds pretty simple, but it is complicated by the fact that many other people are also sitting in the bazaar trying to buy those same treasure cards. If I can get enough of the traps and blades I need, I will take a shot at doing a million. Advice to anyone who wishes to try for this badge: Plan on spending at least 15,000 gold on treasure cards, find a friend who is balance, get feint, and turn off friend porting. It gets irritating when you get all your traps set up, and a person teleports and kills the enemy before you can ask them not to. If anyone reading this is thinking of trying, Good Luck!
